This was the first FASL US Club coalition sponsored team which was set in place by both Mike Connel and Greg Zack. They certainly came close to making the trip to South Africa!

F.C.Tampa Alliance Rangers Fall in Final Match to Miami Elite in Danon U12 U.S. Qualifier...
The F.C. Tampa Alliance Rangers competed at Disney World of Sports in the Open Bracket on Memorial weekend, with a chance to represent the United States in the U12 Danon World Championships to be held in South Africa in September. The team was coached by Mike Connell and Greg Zak.
Players selected and guests are part of member clubs in the Florida Alliance Soccer League.(FASL).
The competition was fierce as tie breakers were needed to advance out of group play.
It seemed the more games the players had, the more they started to gel together.
The players represented very well, and the philosophy of having a regional all-star structure
in place to compete in events like this, proved to be the correct decision and worth the effort.
Dominating wins over two of the top Premier Clubs in the state, proved the players selected were of
high quality and determination. In the end, the team fell in the final match to Miami Elite FC.
Players representing the Alliance Rangers were:
Solsa Rice, Nicholas Ortiz, Jacob Minkovitz, Devi Ndrita, Gavin Haag, Stefano Illanes, Taylor Leaver,
Raheem Taylor, Brian Rivera, Andrew Werkstell, Daniel Hrenko, Seth Shimberg, Julian Hall,
Cesar Sotomayor.
